The hotel is located on Bloody Bay beach, on the coast of
Negril, the same beach where in March, 2001 the hotel chain opened its first
property on the island: the 5-star "All-Inclusive" Riu Tropical Bay
resort with 396 rooms.
The new 420 -room hotel offers a great variety of sport activities and
entertainment, distinctive to the RIU ClubHotel product line.
ClubHotel Riu Negril features two outdoor swimming pools (one of them equipped
with Jacuzzi), terrace-solarium, gym, sauna and wellness center, where massages
and beauty treatments are offered for an additional charge.
The hotel also offers Ping Pong, volleyball, shuffleboard, two hard-surface
tennis courts, multi-sports court, windsurf, sailing, kayaking and snorkeling.
Additionally, scuba diving lessons and practice, water skiing and banana-boat
are available for an additional charge. Guests can also enjoy other water
sports, golf and horseback riding at the nearby facilities outside the resort.
The entertainment program offers daytime activities, for adults and for children
(from 4 to 12 years of age) seven days a week, live music and shows every
evening. In addition, the "Pacha" disco is open (free drinks) six days
a week.
First-rate gastronomy The hotel offers the prestigious "All-Inclusive by
RIU", therefore, all meals and drinks are unlimited, as these are paid for
as part of the package.
For breakfast, a varied buffet with cereal and other natural products and on the
spot cooking is offered. Guests also have the choice of the classic Continental
breakfast.
For lunch, there is a cold and warm starter buffet, on the spot cooking, pizzas,
pasta, salads and an ample variety of desserts.
The dining choices are varied: buffet, dishes prepared on the spot and theme
buffet twice a week. In addition, there are two more options included in the
"All-inclusive": dining at the "Sir Andrew" A Carte
restaurant or at the "Steakhouse" restaurant (advance reservation
required). Furthermore, all guestrooms are equipped with mini-bar and
liquor dispenser.
