Accommodations at the Grand Wailea are among
the best in the world, from our Garden View rooms to the expansive luxury Grand
Suite.
Guestrooms
All guest rooms are quite spacious, beginning at 640 square feet, and
contain either a king bed or two double beds. Each room features a private lanai
(balcony), marble bathroom with oversized bathtub and separate glass enclosed
shower, sitting area and desk. In-room amenities include air-conditioning,
ceiling fans, a 27" color TV with cable, in-room movies, three direct-dial
telephones, mini-bar, complimentary safe, coffee-maker, and bathrobes.

in the Molokini wing facing Mount Haleakala, these rooms offer a limited
view and are conveniently located near meeting space and retail shops.

Premier) Located in all wings of the resort (primarily Chapel and Lagoon

lower floors of the resort, closer to the beach, pools and Spa

- Bistro Molokini:
In the heart of the resort, Bistro Molokini offers a relaxing,
open-air ambience with breathtaking views of the Pacific and distant
islands. Featuring an exhibition kitchen and kiawe wood-burning oven, the
Bistro offers a delightful blend of California and Island cuisine. Open

- Cafe Kula:

Humuhumunukunukuapua'a:
Romantic and exotic, this ocean-side restaurant offers the most
spectacular sunset views. Named after Hawaii's state fish, our Polynesian
thatch roof restaurant floats on a saltwater lagoon filled with tropical
fish. Select your own lobster from the lagoon or savor delicious Island
fish and meat entrees with Polynesian or Hawaiian influences. Open nightly
for dinner.
Kincha:
Dine in a traditional Japanese setting surrounded by tranquil gardens,
waterfalls and 800 tons of rock imported from the base of Mt. Fuji. Kincha
features creative contemporary Japanese cuisine. Experience Maui's finest
sushi bar and for the ultimate experience, request the chef's 6-course

BONUS FEATURES
POOLS
The Grand Wailea Resort's incredible water features offer both
relaxation and fun. Our Activity Pool is for the kid in everyone, with
waterslides, rapids, a rope swing and more, while our elegant Hibiscus pool,
reserved for adults, offers tranquil views of the Pacific and the chance to
relax while basking in the sun. For the adventurous, try your hand at breathing
underwater in our Scuba pool.
Hibiscus Pool
The 4,850 square foot Hibiscus Pool is named for the giant mosaic tile
Hibiscus flower which graces the bottom.
The Hibiscus flower is made from over 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass mosaic
tile. The entire pool contains over 2.2 million individual tiles, and features
two Jacuzzis. This pool is reserved for guests 16 years of age and older.
Cabanas are available at the Hibiscus Pool. (Use of Cabana and Cassabellas is
by reservation only. Reservations are not taken in advance or prior to
check-in at the hotel.)
Wailea Canyon Activity Pool
This multi-faceted, 2,000 foot long, 25,700 total square foot, 770,000
gallon pool consists of nine free-form pools at six levels, beginning at 40
feet and dropping to sea level. The pools are connected by a river that
carries swimmers along at varying speeds, from white water rapids to lazy
currents.
Wailea Canyon includes four jungle pools, four fiberglass slides, a white
water rapids slide, a Tarzan pool with rope swing, the world's only water
elevator, a sand beach, six waterfalls, caves, three Jacuzzis, a sauna, an
infant pool, and a swim-up bar, where guests can order refreshing beverages.

OCEAN ACTIVITIES
Kayak Tours
This snorkel and kayak adventure is a must for everyone. From the pristine
cove of Wailea Beach, our ECO tour takes you along the picturesque South Maui
coast, a sea coast of rough lava, which is only accessible by sea. Our tour
features "Turtle Town" home of hundreds of endangered sea turtles,
underwater gardens with large colonies of assorted tropical fish, and an ECO
guide which can add insight to Maui's hidden world under the sea. All gear is
included, tour is at least 90 minutes.
Surfing Lessons
Learn the ancient Hawaiian art of wave riding with our easy to use beginner
surfboards. The first 60 minutes are with the instructor, and the last 30
minutes you'll be ready to solo!
Windsurfing Lessons
In just 90 minutes, we guarantee you'll be up and sailing. We begin with a 30
minute lesson discussing "wind theory" using our on-land Windsurf
Simulator. Next, you take to the ocean for a full hour with our instructor.
Definitely a "hands-on" approach to learning.
SCUBA PROGRAMS
The Grand Wailea Resort is a PADI certified dive center and offers a number of
SCUBA and SCUBA certification classes.
GOLF
Wailea offers some of the finest Golf in the world. Nearby Wailea Golf Club
and Makena Resort Golf Courses combine challenging play with beautiful

WAILEA GOLF CLUB
Wailea Golf Club, home of the Senior Skins Game, offers a choice of three
championship courses, the Blue, the Gold and the Emerald. The Blue Course has
its own clubhouse with full-service pro shop and practice green. The Gold and
Emerald Courses share an additional clubhouse with full-service pro shop and a
training facility unlike any other in the state of Hawaii, featuring separate
chipping and putting areas, a practice bunker and a driving range with three
built-in target greens surrounded by traps.

- The Wailea Blue Course - "The Grand Lady of Wailea" is
situated on the lowest slopes of Mount Haleakala and was designed by Arthur

designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. is the home of The Senior Skins Game.

- The Wailea Emerald Course - "WaileaÕs Tropical
Playground" was also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. for pure golf
enjoyment regardless of skill level. The course offers panoramic views with

MAKENA RESORT GOLF
The North Course winds its way up the slopes of Haleakala, reaching 800 feet
above sea level, offering some of the most breathtaking island views
imaginable, while the South Course features some of the most arresting
oceanfront holes in the world. These gems, both designed by Robert Trent
Jones Jr., boast 36 spectacular holes encompassing unspoiled, natural
beauty.
