DINING

SeaHarvest Restaurant
Everyone needs food! If you're hungry, the SeaHarvest Restaurant is located on property beside the pool. The SeaHarvest Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus except on Saturday and Sunday when they are closed for lunch.

The SeaHarvest Restaurant is also now offering lunch and full service at the newly opened MY BAR. This way you can have lunch out under the thatch roof or sit out under the umbrellas and have the Caribbean Sea as your lunch view.

The actual restaurant has divided itself into 2 sections for what we like to call the total eating experience. First is the air conditioned dining area surrounded by windows for lots of sunlight and a great view of the pool and water in Sea in the background. The atmosphere is easy and there are no strict dress requirements other than shorts, shirt and shoes. The second section is the outside patio. On the waters edge you can enjoy the full menu, check out the stars and breathe the fresh evening air. Once a week we offer the Caribbean style buffet out on the patio and if we get a nice evening rain we can jump inside without any trouble at all. Ask any of our staff show you around and you pick the one you like.

MY BAR

Looks like My Bar, Feels Like My Bar....IT IS MY BAR! MY BAR is back! Sunset House is now the proud owner of the biggest, friendliest Caribbean Bar in Grand Cayman. MY BAR is located right down on the waters edge and offers the easiest way to soak up the sun, have a nice cool drink and enjoy your vacation.

Sunset House is one of the only places on Grand Cayman where you can come in to the dive shop, go for a shore dive, have a drink and a snack at the waters edge, rest by the pool for a couple hours and go for another dive...all within 50 yards of the waters edge. MY BAR is just a great place to hang out.

For your evening entertainment MY BAR offers a first hand view of the world famous - and yes it does exist - "Green Flash"! Here is you chance, don't miss it! The hours right now are from 10:00 - 1:00 Mon - Thurs and from 10:00 - 12:00 Saturday, 11:30 - 12:00 on Sunday. When we get our full bar staff back, the opening hours Monday - Saturday will be 9:00.

BONUS FEATURES

Sunset House PoolPool/Jacuzzi
We are guessing sometime during your stay with us you will need to cool off! You'll find the pool, right down by the ocean. Where else would we put it?

Had a hard day of vacationing? Wanna enjoy a cool drink in the water? Just want to get a tan? This is the place. You can bring your drink from My Bar up on the deck and enjoy one of Caymans only waterfalls (in the pool) and take in the view.

The view from the pool spans just under 180 degrees including everything from North West Point, 7-Mile Beach, George Town Harbor, and the South West tip of the island. There is nothing quite like it. The pool and the Jacuzzi are attached so you should have no problem finding them. The water flows through a waterfall from the Jacuzzi located above the pool. The water is not artificially heated but the Cayman average temps are so high that the pool is always 80+ degrees so it is very comfortable.

SEA POOL

The Sea Pool at Sunset HouseThe Sea Pool has a brand new set of cement stairs. Over the last few years the Sea Pool has been gaining popularity and we decided to give it a face lift. We now have a very large set of cement stairs that go right down to the waters edge. You can giant stride from several levels depending on your comfort or go down to the bottom step and sit with your legs in the water. Your gonna love it.

The actual Sea Pool is located on the North End of the Sunset House property and obviously, right on the waters edge. The pool is about 8-10 feet deep in different areas and is the perfect area to get back in the water after a layoff and test your buoyancy and make sure your skills are still as sharp as ever. When you ready there is an opening about 15 feet wide that will take you out onto the Sunset House reef where you can head straight out to the Mermaid or the Wreck, or the wall, or the cannon or the....you get the point.

Before you use it we recommend that you talk to one of the dive staff so they can brief you on the area and even show you the dive site map so you have an idea of what's in store.
